- By coincidence, I was actually happening to look up discussions of "Guinness records" in WP's project-space pages hours before press time. From what I've gathered, Guinness World Records was a more reliable source before ownership changes during the 2000s decade,The studio behind Thomas the Tank Engine, of all companies, owned it at one point—true story and newer record categories may or may not hold scrutiny by the standards of WP or the expectations of other editors.
