  • ... that in 2014, the First World War-themed contemporary ballet Dust was performed at the Glastonbury Festival? Source: "It was the first act to take to the stage on Sunday, following Metallica's headline set on Saturday. The company performed Akram Khan's Dust, a piece commemorating the dead of World War One, and the families they left behind." ([1])
    • ALT1:... that choreographer Akram Khan opted his First World War-themed work Dust to focus on women? Source: "The piece I've created is dominated by women." ([2])
    • ALT2:... that a voice recording of World War I soldier Edward Dwyer was featured in the contemporary ballet Dust? Source: "made all the more raw by the scratchy sounds of Sergeant Edward Dwyer’s voice in a 1916 recording of the repeated words “We’re here because, we’re here because”. And, lest we forget, Dwyer (the recipient of the Victoria Cross, the ultimate award for battlefield gallantry) was killed – aged, just twenty – in the same year as that recording." ([3])

Here are my notes:

  • Newness- Created July 22 and nominated the same day;
  • Length - DYKCheck says “3061 characters (516 words) readable prose size”;
  • Sources - sources seem to be reliable although I’m no ballet expert in the case of industry publications;
  • Neutrality - material seems neutral.
  • Plagiarism? - Copyright Violation is Unlikely according to Earwig at 13.8%.
  • QPQ quite nicely done
  • I prefer ALT 2, although other opinions might be good.

In other words, everything seems good! Hope I'm doing this right! - Chieharumachi (talk) 09:05, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Chieharumachi I guess this is your first review? You need to place "subst:DYKtick" (with {{}} and without the quotation marks) in order to let this nomination be moved to the approved section automatically. Also there is a reviewer's template you can use if you want to. Also I want to note that earwig detected 13.8% is probably due to a quote. Corachow (talk) 10:31, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Does this work: ? Or is there a specific place I have to put it? Thanks. - Chieharumachi (talk) 14:33, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Chieharumachi it's ok now, thank you. Corachow (talk) 15:42, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
