the link for "Sheng Long, the main dragon from the Dragon Ball universe" directs to a page about a hoax regarding Street Fighter. I'd fix it, but I don't really know how.

Cartago Dragons
[edit]Move this here:
- Cartago Dragons, it was an American Football team from Costa Rica. It was one of six teams that started the first American Football season in this country on March 2009. Before the season started, the Dragons changed their name to Dragons FA due to some problems with their home city town. The season was a huge failure and many of its players didn't fit in. At the end, the team disappeared.
as I doubt the Cartago Dragons are notable enough for its own Wikipedia article. Perhaps the league the team was in or "American Football in Costa Rica." In addition, the detail is not appropriate on a disambiguation page. (John User:Jwy talk) 23:17, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Something to add
[edit]Add Imagine Dragons to section 3.5.1?

Los Angeles Dragons?
[edit]The listing for the Los Angeles Dragons says it is, quote, "an American football team in the U.S." But the link directs to a Wiki article for an Australian rules football team with that name. American football and Australian rules football are two different sports. I do have some memory of an American indoor football team with that name....can anyone confirm? - That didn't take long! The Los Angeles Dragons were one of four teams in the Spring Football League. The SFL played football outdoors, not indoors as I thought. The league only managed to play 2 weeks in 2000 before folding. (See Wiki article on the Spring Football League.) I plan on updating the article in the next few days. additions and corrections
[edit]I made the following changes....First, I added the Seattle Dragons (XFL), and the Portland Forest Dragons (Arena Football League). Second, I clarified the list to include both Los Angeles teams I mentioned in a previous post. (Hopefully, I did all the links correctly.) Elsquared (talk) 19:38, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
another sports team
[edit]I'm going to add the Shreveport Swamp Dragons, a minor league baseball team in the U.S., better known as the Shreveport Captains from 1971 to 2000. Elsquared (talk) 23:37, 18 September 2020 (UTC)
Rearrange sports teams section?
[edit]Should the section be arranged by type of sport instead of by region and country? I am thinking that people searching for a sports team called "the Dragons" are more likely to know the sport than the location. This is especially so in some sports such as rugby union where club matches are often international. I got prompted to ask this when I saw the headline on this news story and had a bit of difficulty narrowing down who the "Dragons" were. Arranging by type of sport is perhaps the usual way it's done, e.g. Rangers and Red Devils.--A bit iffy (talk) 10:10, 19 February 2023 (UTC)
