Title Correction

[edit]

This might be more correct to be listed as American Double India Pale Ale because of the differences between English and American IPA's. There is no English variety of Double IPA but there is a Imperial IPA (which is a misnomer based on Russian Imperial Stout). 12.20.127.229 17:40, 14 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Pliny needs mention

[edit]

Russian River's Pliny The Elder needs mention here. I have heard it refered to on more than one occasion as the first double ipa, though I have no definitive reference on this.
