The opening paragraph states that she was canonized in 1976. The "Veneration" paragraph states that she was beatified in 1976. They both can't be true. I believe the confusion results from the sources used which are ambiguous. In 1976 her "cultus was confirmed" by Pope Paul VI. If I am not mistaken, this is an equivalent beatification, not an equivalent canonization, as her public veneration is limited to the area of Poland where she lived.
