[edit]page compiled and edited by me, dr. panoz's granddaughter, any untrue statements and falsities/slander will be deleted immediatly,
apart from that, lets celebraate and discuss one of americas most influential people.
soon to come - nancy panoz and her part in this history - which has been erroniously left out.
- You can not claim full control of an article. Automatically reverting changes, as you seem to be threatening here, is against Wikipedia policy. -- Consumed Crustacean | Talk | 22:19, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
not if its untrue - because as a fa mily member i have every legal right to correct and modify untrue and lidelous, unfactual, or uncomplete statements - but then if its correct information there wont be any problem will there - you gottta change the remark about the nicotene patch ts factually untrue - he invented the patch while still with mylan pharmacuticals - and it it is the patch the reason he left that company to start elan. also you left out the fact he started the us army football championship, and that he played semi pro football for the pittsburgh steelers, and that the stealers gave him the money to form, mylan, of course the most glaring problem is the complete absence of nancy panoz who was instrumental in every part of his career
- I just came across this page after watching Dr. Panoz start the 10 hour American Le Mans race occurring today (October 19, 2013) - decided to see if he had a page. In reading the above comments, I think his granddaughter did not truly mean to be as abrasive as her comments might have been construed. Likewise, "Consumed Crustacean" was also merely pointing out that people do not "own" these pages, so this is a simple misunderstanding between what are I'm sure, 2 nice people with the best intentions. :)
- I hope the granddaughter will return here (the above comments appear to be from 2006, many years ago) - and complete her work, provide info on Nancy as well as flesh out the rest of the article for significant contributions of Donald Panoz. He is indeed quite an accomplished individual, worthy of a good article - I also hope that should the granddaughter return, that she sign her posts here on the talk page, so that we know who we are dealing with for each post. Speaking of which, I regret that since I am using a Logitech Revue device to post this via Google TV internet interface, its keyboard does not contain the tilde symbol, making it hard to *me* to sign properly with 4 tildes! Let's see if I can do a copy & paste to accomplish that..... HendixVibrato (talk) 15:58, 19 October 2013 (UTC)
