Countries

Article ought to state about the internationalization of these gestures. Are they used by Japanese scuba divers? Chinese? Iranian? Tierra del Fuegonian? Tempshill 23:34, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Merge with new article Diver communications

I suggest that this article should be merged into a new article to be named Diver communications and redirected, as its title does not properly allow for inclusion of voice comms, and its contents are a subset of diver communications. Peter (Southwood) ^(talk): 15:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Where only one main article is being absorbed into an article with broader scope, the best way to do this is to move this page (rename it) to Diver communications first. This preserves the contribution history. The new article can then be expanded to cover voice comms.
