Criticisms
[edit]There are no criticisms of discursive psychology, see for example Ian Parker's work. This article draws heavily on earlier work in discursive psychology and does not meet recent trends and development, as a result of those critiques. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.231.129.49 (talk) 10:59, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Further reading section
[edit]Er...........do we actually need QUITE so many entries in the further reading section?
- The reading list seems sound and helpful to me. Which ones are you proposing should be deleted and why? Too many, seems to me to be a very weak justification for deletion. Would you criticise a library for having to much to read for instance? It is not as if space is a limit here. What are you hoping to achieve through your comment here? 14:35, 8 November 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.250.130.175 (talk)
Contrast with cognitivist approaches
[edit]I would like to see the paragraph which consists only of the sentence; "It is philosophically opposed to more traditional cognitivist approaches to language." become a whole section that spells out what the differences are, comparing and contrasting. -DoctorW 16:40, 5 December 2005 (UTC)
- It would be helpful if you would expand on your wishes, for instance providing some information on those matters from the research you have carried out yourslf into the matter. Perhaps then an editor could pull them together here for you. 84.250.130.175 (talk) 14:31, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
