List of references films/shows?
[edit]Would it be useful to have a list of movies and television shows this documentary mentions? Compare a similar section in The Celluloid Closet. The documentary itself would likely be the source, I’m not sure there is a secondary source listing all movies discussed. Umimmak (talk) 18:45, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- I think that could be good. You don't really need a secondary source (though the article could use more coverage in general from secondary sources). The film, as a primary source, is sufficient to list basic information. Do you know how many items there would be to list, though? And if all the references are titled? We should avoid anything that requires specialist knowledge to identify. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 22:29, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah I did notice not every clip had an accompanying chyron, so perhaps limiting it to just ones with chyrons? No idea how many that would be though. Umimmak (talk) 22:43, 9 July 2020 (UTC)
- If it is a lot, it may help to use a secondary source to list the most noteworthy ones, otherwise something too long may seem WP:INDISCRIMINATE. (I haven't had a chance to see it yet.) Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 00:43, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

Cast section?
[edit]Are all these biographical blurbs really that relevant for this article about the documentary? Seems like more of the article is background information about people in it rather than anything about the documentary itself. Umimmak (talk) 20:56, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, this promotional-style writing and content does not belong here; I removed it. Cheers! Doctormatt (talk) 21:56, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
