I've removed the Category:Fictional lesbians again. First, there's just about no mention of her sexuality in the article - in fact, there are several boyfriends mentioned, but only a "future" statement about her being a lesbian. See WP:CRYSTAL. And this article is ripe for deletion - there are no real-world references except the BBC. Please see WP:FICT. -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs)19:42, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's fine to keep the category off until tomorrow if you must, but she will appear on-screen with her lesbian lover tomrrow night, so please dont remove it after tomorrow. As for real world references, it's something the project is working on. There are plenty out there, I have much to add, so I dont think threats of an AFD is necessary. There are only a few members of the project, it's taking time to get through all the character pages, but Eastenders is not like the other UK soaps on wikipedia, this one actually has active editors continuously working to bring the articles up to scratch. They just cant all be done at once. Gungadin19:55, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think se ran away because Paul left, because I have the episode where Paul and Trevor leave, and in the same episode Frank is out on the streets looking for Diane, so she'd already run away... -Trampikey(talk)(contribs)19:24, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why does the infobox state that she was introduced by Lorraine Newman in 2012? The episodes this week and next week are produced by Bryan Kirkwood and would've been planned under his tenure as Executive Producer. We won't be seeing the start of Lorraine Newman's work until August. The Introduced/Created by fields have always been a pet hate of mine as often it is just guess work. The character of Tiffany Raymond/Mitchell for instance was actually created by Louise Berridge during her tenure as Storyliner in the mid 90s, there's an in-joke that it's the reason why Tiffany's mum ended up being called Louise in the show. I believe Tony Jordan was heavily involved in the casting of Martine but he wasn't responsible for that character. Just shows how much stuff gets made up. I'm not blaming anyone because no one can know fully what happens behind the scenes but then mistakes like Lorraine Newman being the EP to reintroduce Diane in 2012 just seem blatant when we can see BK is still being credited for these episodes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.0.98.107 (talk) 13:37, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
