Nicknames from when? The 1930’s?
Um, I think the nicknames section is a little outdated, no? (talk) 04:07, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
- I think "The Tiges" was what Ernie Harwell called them (but don't quote me on that). I don't remember them ever being called the Motor City Kitties or Bengals though and I'm almost 42 years old and I've been watching them pretty much my whole life. All three nicknames need sources anyway. TomCat4680 (talk) 16:34, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

- This may be needed to be supported by a reliable source. Also, IPs cannot be pinged. Severestorm28 23:56, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
- @TomCat4680: Who is edit warring? Please look at the edits, where an IP changed "Tigers" to "Tiges". I am in no way bonded to this article but the IP changes were not constructive. Ifnord (talk) 01:34, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
- That's been in the list for quite a while but it needs a source. TomCat4680 (talk) 01:50, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

- Added an edit suggestion below. After fact checking I can only confirm "The Tigers" as a notable, widely used nickname (I've added 3 sources too). I also suggest we remove entirely the 2 other nicknames recently added by an IP (The Tiges and The Bengals). Both seem to be false. AlanTheScientist (talk) 13:07, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
