The author mentions a "Derek Noonan". No such brother. Surely a typo or a lapse in concentration?

Desmond does actually have a brother named derek he stood trial with desmond for White tony johnson's alleged murder and was supposedly a conspiracer to the murder. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Achilles2008 (talk • contribs) 18:11, 20 July 2008 (UTC) there are in fact 7 siblings all of whom had names beginning with 'D'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.70.239.43 (talk) 22:13, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
"The younger generation" section *needs* citations
[edit]At the moment that section is totally unreferenced, which is quite unacceptable. The way it's written seems to imply that for the most part solid sources do exist, and they must be mentioned. This is especially important when we're dealing with living people. Loganberry (Talk) 20:46, 22 October 2008 (UTC)
Assessment comment
[edit]The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Desmond Noonan/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.
Factually weak and a number of corrections and verifications should be considered:
AFA (anti fascist action) was a political group not a criminal gang The two brothers who were assaulted were not from London but from South Manchester and the assualt was related to an incident at a night club. There is no evidence to suugest that the Noonans had any contact with the IRA nor is there any evidence that Logan was a member of the IRA either. There is no evidence that Desmond Noonan supplied guns to gangs in Moss Side. |

Politics
[edit]The politics section reads like a pisstake. This gangster was a "lifelong socialist and anti-fascist" apparently. Someone should have told him that organised crime is fascist by nature. The tone of the section is clearly biased. 2001:BB6:701C:8758:C0FE:FBBA:1BB0:8641 (talk) 01:34, 2 November 2019 (UTC)
