Comments

[edit]
  • Add "(NFL)" to the lead and then remove "National Football League" from the "Early life" section
  • I would consider removing "as well as the most recent" as something that likely become out-of-date at some point. Or maybe add "as of 2024".
  • of his career. consider rewording, as high school football isn't really "career" worthy
  • A wide receiver, he helped Ellsworth recommend adding "As" to the beginning
  • on c. May 25, 1986. I would drop the circa and maybe reword to "around May 1986".
  • Aldridge suggested the team to give Harden a tryout and he signed with the Packers on c. May 2, 1987. --> Aldridge suggested to the team that it should give Harden a tryout; he signed with the Packers in May 1987.
  • Ref spot check:
    • Add access-dates to website references (1, 17, 19, 20)
    • Link The Waukesha Freeman in Ref #5
    • All other refs look good with formatting
    • Spot checks matched what they were citing.

Nice work BeanieFan11! « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 15:17, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Did you know nomination

[edit]

  • ... that working at a post office was how Derrick Harden became an NFL player?
  • Source: Capital Times ("Another Wisconsin native is wide receiver Derrick Harden, a former Milwaukee South standout. Former Green Bay Packer Lionel Aldridge, who worked with Harden at a Milwaukee post office, recommended him to the Packers." - i.e. he became a Packer because he worked with Aldridge at a post office, since the latter was able to get him a tryout in the league)
