The following comment was left in the article space:
I think the above refers to the East LP Station. I worked as a Lab. Assistant at Deptford Power Station, under the Central Electricity generating Board (CEGB) during 1960-5. At that time a new East (HP) station had been built which, if memory serves, had three 55 MW generating sets. The LP station was no longer in operation. A Mr Stan? Holness was the Station Superintendent and Mr J M Allan was the Station Chemist. Jim Beston Jan 2012

- Having worked at this Power Staion from 1960-5, If memory serves, this was the EAST (not West) HP having 3 turbines of about 53 MW capacity. J A Beston 26/2/2013
