Split request 9 June 2023
[edit]I proposed to split this page to National Democratic Party (Argentina) and Democratic Party (Argentina, 1931).
The reason for suggesting this is because there is no verified political connection between the historical incarnation and the present incarnation of this party (Democratic Party/National Democratic Party). Pomchi-Inu87 (talk) 13:46, 9 June 2023 (UTC)

- Seems like a good enough rationale to me. Just because they have similarities or one tries to emulate the other doesn't mean it is the same party. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 16:09, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- I agree, since those are two different parties they should hav separate articles. Broncoviz (talk) 16:36, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- Support. I am not a specialist, but most of the times having more articles is the safest bet, thus I support the proposition. --Checco (talk) 20:38, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. The party is the same than the 1931 one, it one dissolved at national level in 1958, but some regional branches remained until its refoundation at national level in 2019. FCBWanderer (talk) 00:10, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

Questionable conflation
[edit]Hello. I’m an Argentinian historian and I find it highly questionable to identify the current party, founded 4 years ago, with the former party of the same name, dissolved 65 years ago. They’re simply two different parties with a similar ideology and the same name. 82.36.70.45 (talk) 01:01, 22 August 2023 (UTC)
