New motto?

[edit]

I'm aware that there is an esoteric (hidden) motto known only to initiates.

Recently, someone edited this article by replacing the motto in the infobox:

  • From this: "Walk Truly in the Light of the Flame"
  • To this: "Love that is ever steadfast."

Any further edits required? Is one of these phrases part of the sorority's esoteric material, and therefore ought to be removed? (I'm not a member.) Or is this one of those situations where one chapter uses a different motto than other chapters? I'd read that was the situation, in a discussion from ~2007. Jax MNHonestly, I think the further edit is removal. Both phrases show up as part of the *Creed* https://www.mansfield.edu/greek/mansfield-chapters/delta-zeta.cfm , but neither is listed as the motto.Naraht (talk) 00:28, 28 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
