I could not find a source that described the leaves of the entire Delphinieae tribe in much detail, but reading through the descriptions of the genera and species, I noticed that the leaves are always palmate. I found sources that described the leaves of Delphinium, Aconitum, Gymnaconitum, Staphisagria macrosperma, and Staphisagria picta as palmate. As that covers all species in the tribe (if Staphisagria requienii and Staphisagria picta are not considered separate species), I added "[t]he leaves are palmate" to the article. If that constitutes original research, then that could be rewritten as "the leaves of Delphinium, Aconitum, Gymnaconitum, Staphisagria macrosperma, and Staphisagria picta are palmate."
