9/11: how to create the "References" section

[edit]

As I created a new section dealing with Loewer's role on the morning of 9/11 —she is the one who, reportedly, was the first to inform Bush that a plane had hit the WTC— I didn't know how to handle the task of sourcing that information. Here is the link I wanted to append to the paragraph: http://www.historycommons.org/searchResults.jsp?searchtext=Deborah+Loewer&events=on&entities=on&articles=on&topics=on&timelines=on&projects=on&titles=on&descriptions=on&dosearch=on&search=Go I think one needs to create a new section at the bottom of the page, named "References" or "Notes" and that is where all future references will automatically end up. I have done it once before but I forget how it is done. If I don't succeed in finding the solution, could a more experienced editor please refresh my memory. I found a temporary workaround but would still prefer to have a genuine References section at the bottom of the article's page. Oclupak (talk) 19:39, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
