No German reviews

[edit]

"The article states that "its promo was screened at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival where it received positive reviews." The alleged "sources" lead to two Indian websites where no German reviews can be found.--von Tamm (talk) 23:11, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gandhi to Hitler

[edit]

This appears to be an Indian-produced film with Hindi spoken throughout; is there a reason why we don't have the title of this article as "Gandhi to Hitler"? NW (Talk) 18:15, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No particular reason, film had a same title as of article, but when it got condemnation from Indian/Israeli Jews community and other social organizations, its producers changed the title to "Gandhi to Hitler" in India only, but in overseas it was premiered with its original title. And, I've no idea that whether it's in Hindi or not, because according to few sources it has mix-up of Hindi, English, German, etc, and outside India it's completely in non-Hindi languages. — Bill william comptonTalk 21:03, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

letters

[edit]

It would be interesting to get more information about this topic. As I know, Gandhi wrote two letters to Hitler. According to this source [[1]] he also asked Lord Linlithgow (the Viceroy of India) to give up arms and oppose Hitler with spiritual force. Ruina montium (talk) 09:57, 10 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion about title

[edit]

Film Business Asia is quoted as saying that "despite the provocative title, the film is not a tribute to the murderous Führer". I presume that the FBA editor's first language is not English. The title is not a tribute to Hitler. It may however be interpreted as reflecting Gandhi's friendship with Hitler.Royalcourtier (talk) 19:33, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
