Air Conditioner

I purchased several air conditioners made by De'Longhi. The problem is the part that has to be vented in a window let's heat in through the vent making it have to cool a room. The units are constantly fighting to cool with the heat coming in from outside. This makes the unit work harder to keep rooms cool using more electricity then it should. Tried contacting the corporation and was told by their CSR that they were aware of this issue but had nothing to offer.
