Howdy, I shall be conducting this review, as well as fight off a zombie invasion! -- Matthew RD 17:08, 19 October 2011 (UTC)
This is how the article fairs against the GA criteria:
- Well written: See notes below
- Factually accurate and verifiable: No dead links. All seem reliable. ✓ Pass
- Broad in coverage: ✓ Pass
- Neutral: ✓ Pass
- Stable: No edit wars or conlicts at all. ✓ Pass
- Images: One non-free image, with a rationale, looks good. Free images are fine too. ✓ Pass
Here are some notes;
- The plot section is 732 words in length, this seems a little too long. However, to its defense it is a pilot episode, so a lot does tend to go on, and the episode is 90 minutes long as opposed to the usual 60. But isn't there some bits and pieces in the plot that could be trimmed out? For instance the last sentence; "The episode ends with a view of a mass of zombies swarming around the tank and the fallen horse like ants." I don't know about you, but the "like ants" bit may be removed.

- "The season premiere became the first episode of the series to be completely shot on 16 mm film." Well considering it is the first ever episode in the series, of course this was the first episode to be filmed with 16 mm film. Why not reword it to just like "It was shot using 16 mm film."

- It is nice to show ratings from other countries, but is Britain and the US all you could find? Are there not ratings from other countries available?
- Found some info about the ratings in Argentina, Colombia, Korea, Peru, Italy, and Spain. Done
- Oh yeah, I forgot all about that press release. -- Matthew RD 17:22, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

- Isn't there a review around that is at least more mixed towards the series, because no matter how acclaimed shows are, there are bound to be people who don't like it as much.
- I've searched through the Google archives, and all of the reviews I've encountered have been positive.
- That's fine, I guess it's just one of those shows that nobody doesn't like. -- Matthew RD 17:22, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

- I think you should unlink some Frank Darabonts, Gale Anne Hurds and AMCs in the prose, per WP:REPEATLINK, as in each case there are at least three links for each of them.

Should this article somewhere include that the episode ends on the song Space Junk, by Wang Chung? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.73.119.19 (talk) 01:47, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
