NPROF #5 (and probably #7)
[edit](repeat from Talk Page of Mainspace Article). I was surprised this was draftified as he at least meets WP:NPROF #5 (prof in Switz largest university); and probably heading for #7 (there is a lot of good RS on him on drones and AI – Neue Zürcher Zeitung, La Republica and New York Times), and there were links to his university profiles and google citations (that while primary, confirm his existence and basic bio-facts). Outside of taking this to AfD (I think it would be a Keep), I don't think we need to stress-out Dmeier1981, or clog up AFC, and should restore this to mainspace. Every starting editor in WP is a COI/SPA (and I have gone through the text to rm promo material)? thanks. Britishfinance (talk) 00:38, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- NPROF #5 Is for named chairs (or equivalent). If he holds one of those it should be mentioned in the article, but I don't see it listed yet. - MrOllie (talk) 01:11, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- I though his bio says that his professorship is tenured? Thanks. Britishfinance (talk) 01:33, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
- A Named chair is something more than a tenured professorship, it tends to involve the control of additional funding provided by an endowment and is generally considered to be a more prestigious position. - MrOllie (talk) 01:38, 3 January 2020 (UTC)
