The result of the move request was: No consensus to move. Possible primary topic move, but the stats cited by Cuchullain are hugely wrong, skewed by the recent move. All the links to the target are for the other guy. A better case and consensus would be need to change primarytopic. The case would be better if the links to the retargeted redirect were fixed first. @George Ho: I moved the auditor article out of the way to turn David Sun into a disambiguation page, but then I saw that most Google results for the name are for the billionaire, so I initiated the move request. -Zanhe (talk) 19:35, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Relisting comment: This RM seems based purely on a personal opinion that wealth overrides position. The other has a very senior role in government, and has previously featured in news for unfortunate reasons. By significance it is a line call whether either may be the primary topic, there may even be a case for a two-way DAB. Evidence of common use is lacking, and it is not going to be easy to find such. But worth relisting again. Andrewa (talk) 18:03, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
As already explained above, this RM is based on my Google searches, not just personal opinion. All top Google results for "David Sun" -wikipedia are about the billionaire and entrepreneur. The auditor does not show up until the second page, and only once near the bottom. Besides, the auditor's government role is not that senior. Hong Kong is a SAR of China, roughly equivalent to a province (see List of current Chinese provincial leaders). And David Sun Tak-kei, as the chief auditor of HK, holds a sub-provincial post. -Zanhe (talk) 18:29, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@In ictu oculi: No need to apologize, I respect your opinion. A third article with the same name would make a difference to the discussion, although I can't find much information about the Home Inn CEO. -Zanhe (talk) 23:46, 29 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Support per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. This subject receives 96.6% of the page views.[2] He also has more international significance as head of a multinational company compared to the Hong Kong auditor. Plus, even with the dab page created, David Sun already redirects here, and base names should never point to disambiguated names.--Cúchullaint/c15:38, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
