Extraordinary and hostile bias of this article
[edit]Quite typically for Wikipedia, this article betrays very strong bias and NPOV, and it is evident that, because it is not tended properly and is not a mainstream subject of wide popular interest, this has been perpetuated for a long time, years in fact. The snide and actually implicitly antisemitic references to Pryce-Jones's Jewish connections, the amazingly distorted and even false account of his important book about Arab culture, The Closed Circle (only citing one hostile book review, and none of the many that were positive), the partisan and rumor-mongering account of other aspects of his life, all of this amounts to character assassination, and the reason is obvious: he criticised Arab and Muslim culture. The entire article should be wiped, and a new one written by someone actually familiar with the subject and not biased against it by extraneous fanaticisms. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.107.218.51 (talk) 04:51, 22 September 2010 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.235.208.192 (talk)
The above poster is a moron
[edit]It's quite clear that the only reason this guy likes Pryce-Jones is because Pryce-Jones is your archetypical European Conservative of the variety that has some sort of consummate fetish for Zionism and Israel.
The article should be wiped, but primarily for the reason that Pryce-Jones is worthless as an academic and serves essentially as a refuse rag for those who see the Arab peoples as fundamentally monolithic, unintelligent, and backwards-- an unrealistic and biased view, and unrealistic as well, to say the least. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.30.25.106 (talk) 03:11, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
