After Kentucky
[edit]Hobbs then spent two years as a scout for the Charlotte Bobcats before he was hired to lead Japan’s national squad in February 2009, after it failed to qualify for the Beijing Olympics and finished 20th out of 24 teams at the 2006 World Championships.
He guided a rebuilt team to a second-place finish at the 2009 East Asia Championships. A month later Hobbs left the Japan Basketball Association due to health problems.[1] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elee0730 (talk • contribs) 15:53, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
