Good sources for incorporation
[edit]Happened across an 8,000 word expose on Dobrik in Rolling Stone, published June 23, 2021. Looks like it has a lot of good info that could benefit this article.
- Rolling Stone: "David Dobrik Was the King of YouTube. Then He Went Too Far." (June 23, 2021) by EJ Dickson. Rolling Stone. https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/david-dobrik-youtube-vlog-squad-profile-1185706/ (accessed August 20, 2021)
Looks like there are another few articles from highly reputable sources that should definitely be incorporated...
- WSJ Magazine: "Meet David Dobrik, Gen Z’s Jimmy Fallon" (March 12, 2020) by Myles Tanzer. WSJ Magazine. https://www.wsj.com/articles/david-dobrik-interview-youtube-liza-fallon-vlog-11584028115 (accessed August 20, 2021)
- LA Times: "Thought David Dobrik was canceled after his colleague was accused of rape? He’s back" (June 17, 2021) by Aida Ylanan. Los Angeles Times. https://www.latimes.com/entertainment-arts/story/2021-06-17/david-dobrik-is-back-on-youtube-months-after-vlog-squad-rape-allegation (accessed August 20, 2021)
- The Washington Post: "Companies cut ties with YouTuber David Dobrik amid misconduct allegations against his Vlog Squad" (March 23, 2021) by Travis M. Andrews. The Washington Post. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/03/22/david-dobrik-vlog-squad-youtube/ (accessed August 20, 2021)
- BBC: "David Dobrik quits app after associate accused of rape" (March 22, 2021) by Cristina Criddle. BBC. https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-56486137 (accessed August 20, 2021)
And it looks like there's one more source that's used just once in the article to support a narrow fact, and could be used to reliably fold in additional information about Dobrik: — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shrinkydinks (talk • contribs)
- The New York Times: "David Dobrik, Losing Sponsors and Fans, Steps Down From App He Co-founded" (March 19, 2021) by Taylor Lorenz. The New York Times. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/03/19/style/david-dobrik-youtube-explained.html (accessed August 20, 2021)

I removed references of his death
[edit]I removed references of his death from his article. If there is proof that he died, then revert my changes. So far, I haven't seen anything about that. To the person who did that, maybe next time WAIT before you claim somebody's dead...it's very over-the-top. JosephMarigold (talk) 06:21, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
