African-American
[edit]Should there be a mention somewhere in the article and/or a category of his being black? It comes up in some of the mentions of fan anger at him, and a substantial amount of the coverage from his glory days is in magazines for black readers, but I'm not sure how much of a topic race is in baseball in recent decades.
