Queen
[edit]The butcher boy first offers Ozzy some goat meat, But his reply is: "No I might a kill I queen". My understanding is that he means: "No, I might mistakenly kill my Queen nanny goat", as breeding nanny groats are highly prized in Rastafarianism and are referred to as "Queens". But I am unable to find any source for this online. The Rastafari article says only: "Rasta men refer to their female partners as "queens", or "empresses"...

1974 release
[edit]As can be seen here, "Dat" was first released in Jamaica in 1974, on the Wildflower label. But 45cat.com is not regarded as a WP:RS. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:44, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
