[edit]I think that this material, added to the article by User:Agmtb, was perhaps meant for the talk page.
- Desert spoon will take frost down to 10F and probably more, seen very few frost damaged in southern Arizona. The flower stalk also makes an excellent, disposable walking stick, best in spring. Light and strong the stalk increases in thickness from tip to base making it easy to form any diameter and length stick desired. I have been a Sonoran landscaper and hiking guide.
