[edit]@Xexerss: Do you think the OVAs could be given their own article? I mean, if it comes to real world information there is thanks to Funimation's release. However, I don't even know if there is an image that could serve a infobox material.Tintor2 (talk) 16:09, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: Do you mean like a list of episodes article? I honestly don't think that it needs one, since they are just four episodes and I don't think there is enough content to warrant a split. At least that's how I see it, maybe there's actually more info out there. - Xexerss (talk) 16:17, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- On second thought, if there is enough content about production and reception, then I think an article could be created. But if that were the case, I think Gemini of the Meteor should be an article on its own instead of a simple episode list article (with its plot, production, reception content and that stuff). About the cover art for the OVA, I suppose that this could be a good idea https://www.at-x.com/program/detail/11598 - Xexerss (talk) 16:31, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
@Xexerss: Yeah, I'm still confused in regards to these guidelines for anime lists like how Psycho-Pass was divided.Tintor2 (talk) 16:47, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- IMO the three Psycho Pass series should have each their own articles, I think that there is enough content for that, but well, that's another kettle of fish. - Xexerss (talk) 16:50, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
@Xexerss: I might work on this in the weekend but do you suggest using a certain OVA article as a model?Tintor2 (talk) 17:22, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: What about Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal? (now that I think about it, it also has 4 episodes) The sections don't need to follow the same order and I don't know if it should need a cast section, but something like that seems ok. - Xexerss (talk) 18:08, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: The content about the OVA included in the main series article (production, reception and other sections) should be removed now that it was added to the OVA article. I just wanted to tell you, since you added most of that content, and I wanted to let you know before making any change. - Xexerss (talk) 03:21, 7 August 2021 (UTC)
@Xexerss: So after checking a bit the official blog of Darker than Black contains commentary from the staff themselves which helped to add more notes about the animation of Gaiden. At least the pages in black. For some reason, every commentary about each episode instead sends the user to a personal blog that seems to know about the series more than the average viewer about the series but I have no idea exactly if that's reliable. I couldn't find anything about Gemini of the Meteor's production in the black forum though. I also found an official commentary in regards to the series' 10th anniversary but it primarily focuses on the first series instead. The only tidbit from Gemini of the Meteor seems to involve something about Hei's redesign involving his beard and long hair but it was too confusing to get it translated.Tintor2 (talk) 01:11, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- Do those personal blogs belong to the staff or it's impossible to know it? - Xexerss (talk) 08:17, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
- I say we gotta ask somebody who knows Japanese to check it. The one from the Gaiden commentary is a member from Aniplex but the one from Gemini of Meteor is unknown to me.Tintor2 (talk) 14:20, 8 August 2021 (UTC)
Splitting and images
[edit]@Xexerss: So I kinda managed to find interview with the Japanese cast which is why I moved the article. I've been wondering. Should the article's infobox image be replaced with a keyvisual and the DVD box be used for an episode list? I noticed you used this format in other articles too. Anyway, nice work in expanding the series' works so far. I'll later see if I can expand the reception with the other article recommended in the first series' talk page.Tintor2 (talk) 21:45, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: I was about to ask you, now that the Gemini of the Meteor was expanded with more sections, if the Episode list and Home media release sections should be moved to the List of Darker than Black: Gemini of the Meteor episodes article, now as a split article. Then, I could create a general episode list article, like List of Kaiji episodes or List of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic episodes. About the image, it's fine to me whether the main series and the episode list articles use both the same DVD image or different images each one. - Xexerss (talk) 21:59, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
@Xexerss: Feel free to be bold. I'm not sure what is a keyvisual image preferred but the one I always see more prominently is one of Suo in the foreground with Hei's eyes in the background.Tintor2 (talk) 22:06, 11 August 2021 (UTC) @Xexerss: Neat. Do you think the first Darker than Black article might be benefitted from a key visual? I haven't seen one yet but I guess it might cover more than than the first DVD which is just Hei.Tintor2 (talk) 00:50, 12 August 2021 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: I found the image from List of Darker than Black characters including the logo, but since they are the same image, I hesitated (I don't think it's really a valid reason though). - Xexerss (talk) 00:57, 12 August 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I am planning on reviewing this article for GA Status, over the next couple of days. Thank you for nominating the article for GA status. I hope I will learn some new information, and that my feedback is helpful.
If nominators or editors could refrain from updating the particular section that I am updating until it is complete, I would appreciate it to remove a edit conflict. Please address concerns in the section that has been completed above (If I've raised concerns up to references, feel free to comment on things like the lede.)
I generally provide an overview of things I read through the article on a first glance. Then do a thorough sweep of the article after the feedback is addressed. After this, I will present the pass/failure. I may use strikethrough tags when concerns are met. Even if something is obvious why my concern is met, please leave a message as courtesy.
Best of luck! you can also use the {{done}} tag to state when something is addressed. Lee Vilenski (talk • contribs)
Please let me know after the review is done, if you were happy with the review! Obviously this is regarding the article's quality, however, I want to be happy and civil to all, so let me know if I have done a good job, regardless of the article's outcome.
