Spelling
[edit]If this is supposed to be translated to english, then i'd assume that melody had to be spelled the english way. Melodi is danish. --85.82.198.72 18:31, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, yes, and "Grand Prix" is french, so infact the translations should be "Danish Melody Big Price", wouldn't it be a better idea to move the page to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, which also is the correct title of the contest? Pardy 13:55, 29 May 2007 (UTC).
- The page has been moved to "Dansk Melodi Grand Prix". Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 18:29, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Assessment
[edit]I rated the article as start since there are no references and most of the information is obvious through looking at the table. More prose should be written before this page is upgraded. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 18:31, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
MGP
[edit]In Danish MGP is the youth version not the adult one. Some people might say both are youth oriented but MGP are limited to children performers.94.145.236.194 (talk) 19:16, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- I'm not 100% sure on what you're saying, but this article is the adult version used to select their ESC participant. MGP Junior (Denmark) is the youth version. --[[ axg ◉ talk ]] 19:55, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
- Yes I know this is the adult version, but what English Wikipedia calls "MGP junior" Danish Wikipedia calls "MGP" and so does DR, the organizer of both. My point is that the term MGP should not be in this article since MGP is the kid version. I mentioned youth oriented because the core spectators for both Melodi Grand Prix and MGP are people younger than adult (or gays) at least when it comes to Danish spectators.94.145.237.149 (talk) 10:40, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
- Ah ok, I've removed instances of MGP and replaced them with 'Melodi Grand Prix'. MGP Junior (Denmark) would also need to be renamed if 'Junior' is not part of the official name. --[[ axg ◉ talk ]] 13:17, 22 May 2013 (UTC)
