[edit]Agreed. This is really biased. Needs major revision. 216.36.9.204 (talk) 23:17, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
Parts of this article are really subjective. Needs re-writing in places. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.0.207.212 (talk) 23:06, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
Agree. This article is biased and most importantly, copied from his biography on [residentadvisor.net]. Need a rewrite or remove. Luka666 (talk) 00:53, 24 June 2009 (UTC)
Copyright problem removed
[edit]Prior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: http://www.residentadvisor.net/dj/umek/biography. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:54, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
- There seems to be little doubt that the content was published elsewhere first. In the first substantial change to the text made to the article, within hours of the text dump that is duplicated, the words "And it seems he made the right decision at the crucial time" were altered to "It seems that he has made the right decision". The external site uses the original language. Within a very short time, promotional language such as "seducing the masses with his own music blend for more than a decade" was removed from the article, yet it too appears in the source. If they copied from us, they would have had to have done so immediately after publication. It is possible that the content was placed by an authorized agent, but we would need verification of this to retain it...and it would almost certainly need to be heavily revised to deal with the conflict of interest. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:54, 13 May 2012 (UTC)
