Veneration

[edit]

Is it wise to state, "it is certain that no written records of them were known prior to then." in such absolute terms? The author of this article obviously knows a great deal about the subject, but because he doesn't know of any such records, it doesn't follow that none exist, does it? Somebody may have known of prior records and his knowledge been lost; or his knowledge may even now be preserved in some obscure place; or such a manuscript may be discovered this very day.
