What is this?
[edit]This article makes no sense. It begins "Cyclone Warehouse is a semi-autonomous zone..." What they hey is a semi-autonomous zone, in this context? Is it something like Kurdistan? Danzig? Sound like that, but then it starts going off about artists... I have place a no context tag, and if somebody doesn't straighten this out... Herostratus 20:04, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- I added a simpler first line. Also, I cleaned up the formatting and added references. :) Rururudy 20:48, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- OK, but it still says "semi-autonomous zone". What is that pray tell? Does it mean that the President of France and the Bishop of Urgell are co-princes? Or what? Do they have representation at the United Nations? Herostratus 16:29, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- Lonely Planet has a book on micronations -- many with no representation in the UN. [1]. I am not the expert, but I would propose that that area of town has little governance by the USA -- little to no city maintenance and less city 'protection' from the police. Things have happened there -- on public land -- that don't happen on most streets without governmental interference. :) Rururudy 20:02, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
