hints for more references (de)
[edit]For obvious reasons, there are lots of google hits on Emma articles in German if you put "Orkan" as a search term - this is the word used in several European languages for severe extratropical cyclones. At the time i'm writing, google links to de:Emma (Orkan) but i get it as a non-existent page (maybe server slowness?). Boud (talk) 02:56, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Checking the de: Deletion Log, it appears to have been speedied (twice) under their equivalent of WP:NOT#NEWS.[1] Shawis (talk) 03:36, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well, i'm not going to try to get involved there, especially since my Deutsch close to nicht is, even just trying to read, but i did notice that on de:Orkan there's a line for Emma.... Anyway... Boud (talk) 04:31, 2 March 2008 (UTC) To make that a bit clearer: the :de:Orkan page has a line for Emma with no page, and lines for other high rotation speed orkans which do have their own entries. Boud (talk) 04:36, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not gonna go there either--I can't read a bit of it. However, since it has several additional in-bound links[2], I suspect it may get recreated and 'stick' at some point. Shawis (talk) 09:10, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- However, meanwhile we have again the article. Sometimes it's kind of weird how fast articles are gone and difficult to get them back. The article is now under de:Orkan Emma. --Matthiasb-DE (talk) 23:39, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
- Well now again with a RfD :( --Matthiasb-DE (talk) 14:32, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Translation from fr:Tempête Emma and removal of Expand French template
[edit]Having expanded the English article with the available relevant text from the French article, I removed the Expand French template from the article, link rot on the French article has lead the translation to be sparsely referenced.Sadenar40000 (talk) 14:49, 11 January 2019 (UTC)
