Who was Guntharis, a Byzantine?
Is there any more info about why Roganthinus refused to make the payment, other than the typical greediness?

I've made a few further copyedits for more clarity. On Rogathinus, "typical greediness" seems to sum it up pretty well, possibly coupled with an equally typical imperial official's contempt for "barbarian" subject leaders. Constantine ✍ 16:21, 25 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
