page changes

[edit]

Hey all, I hope no-one gets too uspet that I ended up changing so much of the content. I tried to keep all the information, I just re-phrased and restructured a lot of it to expand and clarify it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bjm243243 (talkcontribs) 02:35, 28 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I think it's great. Welcome aboard and keep up the good work. --Lekogm 04:39, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cue mark / Disambiguation?

[edit]

User:Jhawkinson, the Cue Mark in film really doesn't relate at all to what a Cue is in theater. Benjo 11:27, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

(Don't forget to sign your posts.) I agree it doesn't really relate, which is why I put "Please rv. if you think it's inappropriate" in the es. But the problem I was trying to solve is that the word "Cue" (singular or plural) has a lot of different meanings, both in the world at large and even specific to theatre or film. Since Cue (disambiguation) links to Cues with "Cues in theatre or film," and Cue mark describes a use in film, I thought it was helpful to include a link to it in Cues.
I guess the real problem is that Cues should probably redirect to the Cue (disambuguation) page and the current page should be retitled "Cues (theatrical)" or some better name. Since almost all the uses of "Cue" are probably associated with the plural as well. I was reluctant to go with so heavy-handed an approach, so I adopted the solution I did. What do you think we should do? Anyone prepared to add {{Template:Move}}? Jhawkinson 16:39, 8 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think retitling the page is a very resonable solution and linking it to the disambuguation page. I say go fer it.Benjo 09:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Television and film

This article should also address cues in television and film. ---- CharlesGillingham (talk) 17:17, 13 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Capitalization

[edit]

There are 3 types of cues given. Warning, Standby, and Go.

Are these terms normally capitalized? Why? They're not proper nouns. ehn (talk) 01:46, 21 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
