Putting common names in a list or table
[edit]I find long sentences and paragraphs difficult to read.
Is there some way to put the list of common names for the cucurbita foetidisima in the format of a bulleted list or a table? 2601:280:C001:E590:4ACD:8168:F332:1FF6 (talk) 15:35, 6 October 2023 (UTC)
Name of Cucurbita Foetidissima in the Dakota Language
[edit]Is "wagmúza" the name of Cucurbita Foetidissima in the Dakota Language? If any body editing wikipedia has ansestors who were Dakota or friends who are descended from Dakota Native Americans, can you ask them to verify? I read on the internet that the name might be "wagmúza", but the source was not a Native American person, and I am not sure that "WAHGMOOZA" was the word used by people living in the Great Plains of North America in the year 1700. - I don't think this species occurs in areas inhabited by the Dakota people. Plantdrew (talk) 16:30, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
- @Muldoonsamuel55 It is not very helpful to readers to add a table that repeats information elsewhere on the page so I am going to revert that edit. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 20:39, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
