Version
[edit]Prilin, I assume VC issue 48 May 2005 are current game rules, and you do not like older versions defined in the article, only the current version? Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 19:42, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
Current version was updated on the internet in Juli 2008. I have not interest for publishing version from 2005-th. Sorry, you had the problems with my many misstakes. Best wishes. Vladimir. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 13:41, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
- Prilin, okay I have completely rewritten the article. Please check everything over for accuracy. Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 21:54, 17 December 2011 (UTC) p.s. You did not give a Juli 2008 link, I assume you mean the Rules descripiton on your own site.
- Prilin, I have a good screen-shot of your cubes photo, it would make nice lead image, if you like me to add, let me know what license to assign. Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 21:15, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
- Prilin, maybe sample game would be nice addition to the article (do you have a good one?). (Or I'll add, if you send to me.) Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 11:09, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

- Added! I took the liberty of changing notation to abbreviated algebraic (like all WP chess articles use), reserving long-hand notation for only those moves where otherwise there would be ambiguity (because of the special double-step diagonal pawn move). Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 08:45, 25 December 2011 (UTC) (p.s. Also corrected errors on White's moves 10 & 37.)
- Ihardlythinkso, thank you very much for your perfect article about my Cubic chess. In this variant and Hole chess captured units don´t drop on the empty squares as a snow from a sky. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 10:43, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, it's a big difference from Crazyhouse or Shogi. (The "stock" of captured pieces is common, but used differently.) Do you think "See also" items should remain or be removed? Either is ok by me. Happy holiday, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 11:24, 25 December 2011 (UTC).
- I think that "See also" items are very good. All is ok.Prilin
- One minor point, FYI: The photo currently used seems to be older version (4 sides showing pieces instead of 6). Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 03:15, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, it is photo from two sets with the cubes for my Cubic checkers. My several sets of Cubic chess I has made from Cubic checkers and they are not so nice. Prilin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 06:14, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
- One bigger point: On my homepage an advance for pawn is not only diagonally, but forward too. I am sorry.Prilin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 10:24, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- From the article: "The Cubic Chess pawn moves and captures as a normal chess pawn, but may also advance two squares diagonally in a single move." (So, "moves as a normal chess pawn" defines forward movement. Is it not correct? If not correct, how is Cubic different?) Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 12:40, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, pawn has an extension double-step forward or diagonally from any square.Today I would be satisfied with the rules as in your article. But software is programed othervice.Pribylinec. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 15:27, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
- So (to confirm/clarify), do you mean the article describes the pawn move rules correctly, but the software works in a different way for the pawn? (And, if the latter is the case, do you like the article text to remain as-is? Or changed, to reflect the behavior of the software? Or a note added, to warn about a bug in the software?) Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 07:54, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
- Cubic chess is my only variant, with that I was never satisfied and I had the changes more then 100x. Last change was in 2008 and such is updated on the games servers. Your spontaneous separation of pawn´s double-step forward in the extension like me a little more. But where you have red that definition of the pawn extension? Accident, but we are going moreover. Well, Prilin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 10:59, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
- I am confused. Perhaps tell me what is wrong with the current article definition. (Do you like it changed? What is specifically not right, and what do you like it changed to? [The current article definition for pawn, to me, seems perfectly consistent with your homesite description. I was unable to play the program on your site. Anyway it is better to confirm rules via this Talk.]) Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 14:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

- Sorry, I am very glad that you have written a perfect article about CC, but my English is poor. If my definition: a pawn has an extension of the move by two squares forward or diagonally from any square, is fully consistent with your current article ,I apologize to you. (All chess variants on my homesite are playable online or after downloading). Well, Prilin — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 17:12, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, so you think the article is describing the pawn move rules correctly then, and doesn't need change. (Let me know if that is not right.) Oh, another "problem" w/ the current lead image ... it would be *better*, if it also showed some pieces in the off-board "stock"! Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 13:12, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well, and what about this definition: pawn, but may also advance two squares diagonally or forward in a single move? Is it consistent? The whole misunderstanding stems from
- definition of the advance pawn´s move two square forward. I made several photo of the cubes separately outside a board on the cell phone, but they line not with a photo on your ::article. Well, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin ([[User talk:Prilin|talk]contribs) 18:02, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Okay I "get" (understand) you now re pawn advance rules. (I also downloaded your program; for some reason I couldn't execute it from your website.) Please check the article rules now, they are rewritten, and let me know what you think. Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 23:30, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- Well, your article is excelent now. You are strict like scientist.I has published better articles in the medicine.I would be very enjoyed, if you decide to write any my game in the future. Well, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prilin (talk • contribs) 07:00, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments! Cheers, Ihardlythinkso (talk)

rule changes
[edit]Prilin, what is meant by "two steps straight forward permanently"? Ok, Ihardlythinkso (talk) 22:39, 20 May 2012 (UTC)
Article dissatisfaction
[edit]Prilin, what's up? Your article has top spot (no REDIRECT) for name "Cubic Chess". Last I heard, you were very pleased with the article writeup. I noticed you've added some changes since then. (Did you want some editing help on those changes?) What transpired to reverse your feelings about the WP article in general? Ihardlythinkso (talk) 08:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Caps
[edit]Either the article should be at "Cubic Chess" or the article should read "Cubic chess". Hyacinth (talk) 11:34, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
- This one is easy, it s/b "Cubic Chess". --IHTS (talk) 12:45, 18 June 2018 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Three-Man Chess which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 05:32, 28 October 2019 (UTC)
rotate any pawn uppermost his cube

- Carified. Thx. --IHTS (talk) 08:00, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
