[edit]

the section about the arts and architecture of the crusades has a mistyped article link, where it is "Art of the Ccrusades" it should be changed over to the article "Art of the Crusades" Legoarsonist (talk) 19:17, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Legoarsonist:  Done; thanks for contributing! penguinencounter2@enwiki:~/talk/contrib$ 19:30, 22 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. JTP (talkcontribs) 03:21, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Typo in Background Section

[edit]

Hi, there's a typo here: "The evolution of a Christian theology of war developed from the link of Roman citizenship to Christianity, with citizens were required to fight the empire's enemies." I can't edit the page with a new account, but I think the last part could be rephrased to say "according to which" instead of "with". Anendaks (talk) 02:40, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Also the following sentence: "A doctrine of holy war dated from the 4th-century theologian Saint Augustine." is incomplete and could read "This doctrine of holy war dates from the 4th-century theologian Saint Augustine." Anendaks (talk) 02:43, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Anendaks I implemented the changes you suggested. The Night Watch (talk) 02:43, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Anendaks (talk) 02:57, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The uppercasing of Iberian Peninsula was reverted with this edit by Norfolkbigfish. The link to the uppercased article title seems to be all that's needed to change the casing. I don't know what British English has to do with it. The wording can also be changed to simply Iberia if it is a concern on this page, but overall, on Wikipedia, Iberian Peninsula is a proper noun. Thanks. Randy Kryn (talk) 10:31, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies @Randy Kryn, I have self reverted my revert - I wasn't paying as much attention as I should and thought it wasn't a proper noun! Turns out it is, my mistake. Norfolkbigfish (talk) 10:36, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Norfolkbigfish, the Iberians will be glad. You can remove this section if you'd like. Appreciated. Randy Kryn (talk) 10:40, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
