A very nice article, compact, well-focused on its topic, with good coverage of the main points, and excellent references. I have done a minimal amount of copy-editing to make the English flow. Comments

• History: the paragraph on the library should go in a separate section headed "Library".

• History: the paragraph on journals ("In 1885, Brusina led ...") should go in a separate section headed "Journals".

• The section heading "Today" is not satisfactory and should be replaced with something like "Collection" or "Holdings". That section should include the first 3 paragraphs of "Exhibitions", a section which should as is customary be restricted to temporary exhibitions.

• References: could you please provide a "language=hr" parameter for all citations in Croatian.
