I noticed Walter Görlitz has reverted Gutierrez's citizenship back to Chilean a number of times. I'm pretty new to this so I'm not entirely sure where the precedent is, but Gutierrez has officially filed a one time switch to play for Canada. He can no longer play for the Chilean national team. Would it not be more accurate to call him a Canadian-Chilean footballer? KGlife (talk) 15:08, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

– Two footballers with the same name, with the only difference being an accent in the first name. Propose to disambiguate as above. Note the first is a Canadian-Chilean who was born in Canada, has represented Chile U20, but has been called up to the Canadian senior team a couple of times, including today being named to the Canadian preliminary roster for the 2021 Gold Cup and has already filed his FIFA one-time switch to be eligible for Canada. Since he is now only eligible for Canada due to the one-time switch, I chose to use soccer instead of footballer per WP:LANGVAR RedPatch (talk) 17:15, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply] Addition: The base with no accents Cristian Gutierrez currently redirects to the Canadian. Could be made into a DAB. RedPatch (talk) 18:38, 18 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
