Hi there

[edit]

Language Usage Hello, I want to send thanks to the person or people who started the article on the term Crip. I am part of the Wiki Education course focusing on disability. For this course, I am going to be working on building on the great work that has been done already. One thing I want to work on is the jump between reading levels in the Lead section. The reading level of the Lead before it goes to the long quote is great, but the quote itself changes in reading level, which I found jarring. I plan to summarise the quote to match the reading level of the other text in the Lead and add a summary of the sections found in the article. Expanding Article I've been working on a few new sections and expanding the history section. Here is the daft I am working on in my [[1]]. The new sections are Crip theory and controversy. PLease review note any feedaback with this update that I plan to make live on Friday July 24 BellaFoxDonnaBurn (talk) 18:32, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Difficult-to-understand sentence under "Crip Theory"

[edit]

Hi, I wanted to flag that I found the following sentence:

"To accommodate these needs people with disabilities have to be careful when considering what they can do in relation to life and work expectation with the resources they have."

quite difficult to parse/understand. I would reword it, but I don't know what it's trying to convey! (/positive tone)

I understand it up to the bold section.
