I'll review this. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC) It looks promising in my review, with a few minor improvements I could suggest to tip it over:
- For the referee in the infobox, he's listed as representing Tonbridge. Were referees not affiliated to Kent County Football Association back then?
- Also, shouldn't it be mentioned in the article body?
- I have no idea on the affiliation question, but every source I've looked at lists his location as Tonbridge. I've added a line to the pre-match section. — Amakuru (talk) 12:00, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Also, shouldn't it be mentioned in the article body?
- What was the reason for Hill's departure?
- Reason added. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- "Manager Alan Dicks", Shouldn't that be "their manager Alan Dicks"?
- I'd have thought either way works, but I've added in "their" since you suggested it. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- With the link to the 1975-76 Football League season in Sunderland's paragraph, is there a more direct link to the actual Second Division season?
- There isn't an article on that. 1975–76 Football League Second Division just goes back to the overall Football League page for that season. I have amended the piped link though, to go through that redirect, so that if ever anyone creates such a page we'll be ready and waiting for it... — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- There should be an WP:INLINE source for the debate as to whom was responsible for initiating the delay to kick-off
- Added. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- "Coventry seemed comfortable at that point" - MOS:OP-ED (though I think that whole sentence should be reworded due to the "refused to give up" being there.
- I have reworded this as quotes from the source rather than it being in Wikivoice. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- The last paragraph in the Match summary could do with some inline citations, especially about the news coming through and Hill asking the scoreboard operator to show the scores.
- Done. — Amakuru (talk) 09:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- In legacy, is there a number for those who got arrested?
- Numbers and charges added from the source. — Amakuru (talk) 11:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- In the paragraph about Sunderland complaining, there's quite a long sentence there on it. Can we break it up to the complaint and the reprimand please?
- Done. — Amakuru (talk) 12:06, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Is there a reference for Sunderland fans abusing Hill at Fulham?
- Well the two refs 45 and 46 at the end of the paragraph covered all that, but I've mixed them into the text a bit more for clarity. — Amakuru (talk) 11:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- "Coventry and Sunderland were involved in further drama" - WP:PEACOCK
- Reworded. — Amakuru (talk) 11:53, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Is there a source for Ferguson and Strachan's claims?
- Reference 48 covers everything in the five sentences since reference 47. We don't need to put an inline after every sentence, do we? — Amakuru (talk) 11:16, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Reference 20, needs an author, same for reference 26, 39 and 45
- I can't see author names in those references, can you point them out to me? The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 10:19, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Reference 26 - Telegraph needs to be in italics
- Already was or beaten to it. The Rambling Man (Stay alert! Control the virus! Save lives!!!!) 10:19, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- Reference 47, author reference formatting needs to be consistent with the others (needs surname first)
- All in all looks good but just needs that little push to tip it over. Please ping me when it's been done. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 07:49, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- @The C of E: thanks for the review, and I think everything you've mentioned so far has been looked at now. Cheers — Amakuru (talk) 12:06, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
- That's a pass then. Well done @Amakuru: and @The Rambling Man:. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 14:50, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
