Tribunals
[edit]Should this article be expanded to include Tribunals (e.g. the Employment Tribunal), or would it be better for tribunals and panels that aren't actually 'courts' to be the subject of a different article?Andrew Le Sueur (talk) 06:37, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
- Not sure - how many are there? If there are only a small number, then maybe add a tribunals section to this page which gives brief details of each one in subsections. But if there are lots, or lots to write about them, which might result in the page getting unbalanced, then just a heading and brief mention on this page, cross-referenced to a new article, might be better. Coat of arms
[edit]Ideally the article could do with an infobox, similar to: Courts of England and Wales. In the meantime, the coat of arms which the courts use will suffice. It is normal practice for articles to have an image in the top right, see Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Images#Images_for_the_lead - "allows readers to quickly assess if they have arrived at the right page". So, please do not remove it unless it is the clearly the wrong image. Danrok (talk) 16:59, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Seeing as this page features in the Politics of Jersey series, that box seems more appropriate - and it features Jersey's arms at the top. DavidWard talk 18:46, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
- Although it's not the correct coat of arms. It's explained here [1].
