The 'fact' in Trivia Area
[edit]Hello, I just edited the fact in trivia area for grammar, sentence flow (first sentence originally made no sense IMHO).. --Illyria05-- 00:47, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Kirk's narrative
[edit]I added a note about Kirk's narration when he goes in the Jeffries Tube and pulls the cables to save the ship. AFAIK it was the only episode where voice over narration that wasn't a log entry was used.Dgabbard (talk) 21:07, 15 April 2008 (UTC)
Kirk doesn't know maths
[edit]When Kirk was describing the sound pickup, he said the device can magnify 1 by the power of 4. 1 to the power of anything is 1. He meant 10 the power of 4. Someone forgot the zero on the script! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctorwc (talk • contribs) 10:58, 7 January 2011 (UTC)
- I was just about to mention the same thing. AMCKen (talk) 17:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
- I think the quote is "This computer has an auditory sensor. It can in effect hear sounds. By installing a booster we can increase that capability on the order of 1 to the fourth power" -- Jake (talk) 03:59, 12 September 2011 (UTC)
Nancy Wong
[edit]Wong has enough information to mentioned in article. 2601:6:1780:DE6:C00E:BAA1:6EB5:2C8E (talk) 05:22, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
Error in Rank Insignia
[edit]There is, however, one wardrobe goof. Mr. Finney's stated rank in the spoken dialogue is Lt. Commander. In the scene where the alive and well Mr. Finney ambushes Capt. Kirk in the Engineering section, the rank on the sleeves of Mr. Finney's tunic is Commander, not Lt. Commander. Dr. McCoy is also a Lt. Commander. Since McCoy's uniform has unquestionably been correct for three season, logically Finney's sleeves should have the same insignia as McCoy's.

- Note: Spock was identified as a Lieutenant Commander, during the series' first season, even though he wore the insignia of Commander, the entire series. GoodDay (talk) 17:44, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
