[edit]I plan to expand this into a short article to explain the territory, it's growth etc. I do not plan to make this a duplicate of the list or regents. The main purpouse is to have a relevant link for any pages mentionning the counts as neitehr the city of Luxembourg (only a small part of the county) nor the current country (composed of lands of several ancient counties) are appropriate targets.--Caranorn 20:17, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
History
[edit]I have looked around for definitive references that explain the meaning of the word, Luxembourg, without success. There are multiple web pages that prefer either the 'Letze' or the 'little fortress' explanation, but they don't include any references. Books on Luxembourg are generally in languages that I don't speak. Leschnei (talk) 13:42, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
Section headings
[edit]I think that the section headings could be more descriptive. Maybe: (1)Early history, (2)Growth of the town of Luxembourg, & (3)Holy Roman Empire. Input would be welcome. Leschnei (talk) 14:30, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
