[edit]I solicit feedback about these observations regarding the 23:13, 8 June 2023 edit by Jackedano:
- new text: " a group is defined as 'as an act composed of three or more people, both of whom normally perform together ...'" (two items: "as" followed by "as", even though one is inside quotes, we don't need both of them; and "both ... [of three or more people]"!)
- changed text: "The award was first presented in 1967 to ..." changed to "The inaugural recipients were...". I recognize that this is not Simple Wikipedia, but calling it "inaugural" seems to suggest something extra special; we should prefer "more plain" language; perhaps there was perceived to be a possibility of some confusion like "this was the first year that this recipient received it", but I don't think using "inaugural" is the right way to go.
- deleted text: Dolly Parton was the first female recipient of the award ...". Just because this is from over 50 years ago, does that mean it's no longer noteworthy?
