Cottrill Opera House → Cottrill’s Opera House – "Cottrill’s Opera House" appeared in newspapers (e.g. La Sentinella del West Virginia) as early as 1911. It is also the preferred naming per the organization that currently owns the building and aligns with its Google location, the Facebook page, the Instagram profile, etc.. - None of these sources are stated in the article...why are they not supplied to support the name? The National Register of Historical Places inventory form from 1979 lists it as "Cottrill". The naming preference should be supported by sources. Two of the three external links support Cottrill. Please supply sources for this name. It would be nice to expand/support the article with the sources stated above, if, in fact, they are actually available. Newspapers, the organization...these seem fine, and should be cited. Not so sure about the reliability of Google, Facebook and Instagram. Otherwise, this assertion looks imaginary. Please support this assertion. Removed this ref, which only goes to a research page [1]
- Okay, please ignore my comments above. A kind editor, User:Station1 has assisted me, and supplied a new source, which I will use to add info to the article. One apostrophe is not the end of the world, we just want to provide good information to our readers.
