Rarely a Mallee

[edit]

"Corymbia gummifera, commonly known as red bloodwood, is a species of tree, rarely a mallee, that is endemic to eastern Australia. " rarely a mallee" mean here? The link to the Mallee explains what the Mallee group are; Thinking as I go the meaning might be that in some cases it grows with multiple trunks from a lignotuber. Maybe this should be expanded upon by some one who knows Caferoma (talk) 06:49, 22 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
